Thank you so much! I had this problem on two different macs. Is this something I can fix or will SSG have to do something to permanently fix it? So this is truly a workaround, not a fix. If I quit the launcher, I have to go through the language selection process again to be able to log in. If I leave the launcher up once it's working, I can re-log properly from there. But I'm having to do it each time I launch the game. The launcher re-launches, and this time brings up the login process properly, and I can log into the game as normal. UPDATE: I found a workaround - from the Launcher I chose the "EN" (language selection menu button) and then "English". I was in game just fine prior to the patch. I'm using the Wine installer provided by SSG.Īny ideas what all of a sudden has gone wrong and what I can do about it?

With today's patch (30.0.3), after the update downloads, at the launcher I'm seeing this error message "Game Launch Failure" and "Installer error 16389 for Microsoft C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable. SSG can you please give us Mac users a launcher that calls the current Wine app so we can get back to using the 64-bit client and avoid all this DLL nonsense? Thank you! Someone more technical than I would have to explain why SSG made this particular change, I can only guess. The game should launch without further issues. When you get the error message about missing DLL files, click "OK" and then "Continue". UPDATE II: Please note that as of patch 31.1.2 (Jan 12, 2022) the workaround given below no longer works on Mac computers.
